I'm LIU Jia, 22 year old, a Chinese bicycle traveller.
8 friends and I are going to take a big trip----cycling from Athens to Beijing in 2008.
We have prepared for this since Jan. 2007, more than one year.
We plan to arrive at Athens on 26th Feb 2008. Then we will use 20 days riding cross greece to Turkey.
There are somethings we need your helps:
1.Our Itinerary in Greece is as below, could u give us some advices, as local bike friends' advices will be important for us
2. Are there GIANT bicycle in Athens?and how much is it for a montain bike?

Itinerary in Greece

Arrive at 13:00 (local time) at Athens by air. Go to Neos Olympos Hotel (38 Theodorou Diligianni street, Athens). Rest and familiar with the city.
27th，FEB
Take the bicycle in airport. Check the bike and ride back to hotel. Contact with China embassy in Athens. Having our Spring Festival eve Party.
28th，FEB
Visit the Acropolis and China embassy. Adjust and be ready to start our bike travel.
29th，FEB

Remarks：出希腊4km至Aspropyrgos需要翻山，difficulty有4km，需调整时 间分布。

Interest sites：大部分沿海骑行，海景依旧。

Remarks：如时间充足，可绕过Kαto Akhaοa前方8km的Movri，到海角，经Larissos到Lappa，重返公路骑行。这样虽然多 走了几km爬坡的山路，但可以享受海角独特的风景。
Remarks：If time is enough, we will cycle via the Movri, to see the special view.

3th, 4th, 5th, MAR. Stay in Olympia, visit Temple of Zeus，Temple of Hera，Statue of Zeus. Mechanics Recheck the bicycles. Photographer collating the pictures&videos and send to China.

Destination：Itιa
Distance：106km。

Interest sites：全部沿海公路，海景依旧。

Remarks：路途中的沿海陡坡公路较多，骑行时注意安全，避免不慎骑出公路滑入海中。
Remarks：The coastal roads are narrow, should be careful.

Interest sites：全程均为山区景观，其中Itιa东北部16km为Delphi遗址，经午餐地Graviα北上 1km是Doris。
Interest sites：All moutains, In Itιa there is the Delphi ruins.
Remarks：全天骑行在山间非常的蜿蜒崎岖的公路，绝大部分为上下坡。先是16km至Delphi海拔 500m，然后折回来北上24km海拔至902m，接着下坡10km至海拔380m的Graviα，然后2 0km翻过海拔650m至Thermopylae，最后平路10km至Lamνa。
Remarks：With many up and down roads, this day will be a little tired.

Remarks：出Lamνa一路difficulty曲折翻山20km，highest 至海拔688m，然后下至海拔500m，平路到Dhomokσs，接着4km下至海拔150m，一路平原到 Lαrisa。后半程岔路较多需多注意。
Remarks：In the flat part, there are many forks in the road.

Interest sites：前程穿越山谷，伴河流而行，途经Vale of Temp，40km后为沿海公路，经过Platamon Castle，Battle of Pydna等地。经过几天山路后可再次一饱无限的海景。
Interest sites：First along the valley, then river and Vale of Temp, Platamon Castle，Battle of Pydna.
Remarks：公路在山谷中穿梭，伴河而行，海拔并不高。气温较之前低，注意保暖。

Thessalonνki的海景也非常的迷人，从White Tower往南有3km的观景海岸线，就像上海的外滩。
Stay in Thessalonνki for 1 days. There are many places worth visit. Hagios Demetrios, Hagia Sophia, Aristotelous Square, Arch Of Gallerios, White Tower, Alexander the Great.

Destination：Asprσvalta
Distance：84km。

Remarks：出Thessalonνki和进Asprσvalta都要经过山谷，前者有缓diffic ulty，后者较平缓。中间的路程为希腊境内仅有的沿湖路段。
Remarks：after Thessalonνki and before Asprσvalta there are valley, with some slope.

Remarks：全程绝对的沿海，而且完全没有坡度，总里程也很少，这一天做为休闲骑，可以考虑中午自带午 餐找个沙滩就地而食，但要考虑天气，因温度较低，有风雨还是不宜停留。

Interest sites：除了途经Alexandhroϊpolis和Feral这两个大点的城镇，沿途没有其他村庄。 全程无特别景点，最后要路过雅典和土耳其的交界的桥Kipoi Bridge。
Interest sites：Via 2 town Alexandhroϊpolis, Feral and Kipoi Bridge.
Remarks：因沿途无特别之处，且这一天为出境，宜早行早到。
Remarks：Leave Greece at this day, need to start early.
